Invest wasn't as scary as I thought. But that intrusive microphone was quite umm. intrusive when I took the pledge. Stupid microphone. I couldnt whisper to Patrick (who was on my left) to put his hands by his side instead of convering his... uh... you-kno-whats. I was scared the whole school would hear what I was going to say. Imagine this:
Sam: (in low voice) Patrick! Put your hands down and stop covering your -beeep- (Amplified now by the mikes)
The school would. remember me for that.. like they did for the Scout who said the National Pledge on Scouts' Day. (heheheheh!)
I didn't screw up. But someone else did... (points to the Vice Heads)
Anyway back to the investiture. As I was saying. Invest wasn't that screwed up. I got MG for the touring duty, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was quite easy to make conversations (knowing me and my shy-ness) with them about their school and our school and .. their school and our school. (you kind of get the picture)
We had to escort them around the school for about. 1 hour? I dont know. cause we finished the tour by like. 10. and we only had to report back at 11. Bah. We walked quite fast. In the end we took a photo and escorted them out of school. (they were lazy and took a taxi when the rest of the schools took buses =P)
HMM. I just realised i missed the whole day of school. PE, A Maths, Chinese..
