i think my mother's line of reasoning is rather flawed.

mother switches off tv. you're too near. not even three cm away from the tv.

-im clearly 5 CM away, but still quite near, so i back off to like. 30 cm.

-i switch the tv on again.

mother stares at me, like i did something wrong to her.

-i stare at her back.cause i know i didnt do anything wrong

she switches off the tv again. and now she says: you cant use the com and tv at the same time. im going to take the laptop back to my office.

like. WHAT? i dont get you. first you say. im too near. then i back off, then you just dont want me to watch tv right? then say so la... dont anyhow give reasons to justify that you're right. its not like you're always right. mostly. but not always.
